I had a delightful stay at this charming cottage in the Cotswolds. The house truly felt like a home away from home, especially for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance to the center of Winchcombe and its lovely pubs and Sudeley Castle. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a wonderful welcome hamper, which was a great touch after a long drive. The house itself was cosy and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The owner was incredibly communicative and welcoming, even accommodating our late-night arrival. I felt immediately settled and couldn't ask for a better place to stay.
Being an older house, there were a few minor inconveniences. The bathroom was located downstairs, which was mentioned in the house profile but may be unexpected for some.

The cottage had everything we needed for an epic vacation with our friends. We explored the Cotswolds, went hiking in the beautiful countryside, and even did some cycling to burn off all the delicious food we had! Alex, the host, was super cool and gave us all the deets we needed to have an amazing time. She even hooked us up with a killer welcome hamper and personalized mugs that made us feel like VIPs. No61 is the spot for an epic getaway with your crew!
The only thing we wished for was a bit more party action in Winchcombe. Don't get us wrong, there were some great pubs and restaurants, but as young party animals, we were looking for a bit more of a vibrant nightlife scene.

The house was super cozy and had everything we needed. We went cycling in the nearby countryside and had a blast exploring the cool pubs in town. The owner was so rad and made us feel at home right away. We even got a super cool welcome hamper! It was the perfect weekend getaway with my squad!
If there's one thing we would've loved, it's a banging party scene nearby. We were in the mood to dance the night away, but the town was more chill vibes.
